Occupy Austin evicted after 3 hours

While all occupiers in cities across the US are facing evictions and bans on overnight camping, Occupy Austin, TX is finding it particularly difficult to gather.

According to the State Preservation Board, (the governing agency that sets policies for how the state Capitol grounds are used), "no event on the Capitol grounds shall exceed 3 hours in length." (.pdf link to actual policy)

The few protesters that did show up to peacefully hold signs were told that they would be issued tickets and even arrested if they did not vacate the premises.
