Who we are:

Heather Turner

Heather Turner is the founder of the No to the Quo! blog and currently completing undergraduate studies in Mass Communications in London, UK. Turner hails from the rural Ozark Mountains in south west Missouri. Turner has two years experience in broadcast news, working as a DJ, news anchor, talk show host and news director at KTRM 88.7 FM, Truman State University, as well as experience in the corporate newsroom as a CNN-International London Bureau intern. For non-news related fun, Turner enjoys climbing things, playing guitar, and trying to not sound like a dying cat while learning the fiddle.

 Nathan Rothwell

Nathan Rothwell is the very first contributor to NTQ! Rothwell currently resides in St. Louis, Missouri and has an BA in History from Truman State University. Rothwell is particularly adept at parsing through the extremist right wing spin that pervades American media and politics.
